Season 14 Branding & Creative Direction

 

For Hattiloo Theatre’s 14th season, I created a refreshed visual identity that aligned with the theater’s evolution and growing audience. The season featured a dynamic mix of productions that required a system capable of both consistency and expressive range.

 

 

 

The Challenge

Hattiloo wanted a season look that felt elevated and contemporary while staying rooted in their mission to center Black narratives. The visuals needed to balance artistic depth with clear communication across marketing channels.

 

My Role & Approach

I designed a season identity built around a strong typographic foundation paired with rich, character-driven imagery. The modular system allowed each show to stand out while maintaining visual continuity across the full season lineup.

Impact

The updated season branding elevated Hattiloo’s visual presence and helped unify all marketing touchpoints, supporting both ticket sales and overall brand recognition throughout Season 14.
